Join the team at GradePower Learning in Palatine, Illinois as an Education Coordinator
Teach in a professional and dedicated staff in a family oriented work place, that offers you flexibility and the ability to coach and connect with students who are seeking academic remediation and enrichment
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Experience in working with and supervising teachers on a team or as a leader
Ability to teach reading, elementary mathematics, and study skills
Professional & friendly demeanor; energetic!
High level of organization, attention to detail, computer expertise.
Ability to interface with educators, parents, and other administrators.
ACADEMIC PREPARATION NEEDED:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree
Teaching experience in reading, writing and mathematics.
Knowledge of reading instruction theory and practice.
POSITION PARAMETERS:
This is a part-time, 24-32 hour position (day, evening & Saturday hours)
Monday through Thursday center hours are 9 a.m. -- 8 p.m. School year Saturday Hours 9 a.m. -- 1:30 p.m.
Some evenings and occasion Saturdays required (except in the Summer)
Compensation range starts at $17.00 and is based on experience
