Responsibilities:
Transport children/adults to and from program activities and site(s)Makes daily safety inspection of bus/vanReports to supervisor any conditions on bus/van which needs attention or correctionOversees conduct of children/adults on bus/vanFollows all driver guidelines and standardsFollows YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention and emergenciesMay supervise a group of program participantsOther duties as assignedRequirements:
Must be at least 21 years of ageMust have a valid driver's license withCDL highly desirableChild Abuse Prevention - Supports the commitment of the YMCA to child abuse prevention by:
Report any items that may provide a health or safety hazard to staff, members or guests to your supervisorFollow all policies and procedures related to keeping children safe in our facilities and programs, including those related to the monitoring and supervision of childrenReport any suspicious behavior and violation of policy and procedures to your supervisorComplete all child abuse prevention training as requiredQualifications Behaviors Detail Oriented - Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well Dedicated - Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity Motivations Flexibility - Inspired to perform well when granted the ability to set your own schedule and goals Goal Completion - Inspired to perform well by the completion of tasks Recommended Skills Commercial Driver's License (Cdl) Criminal Justice Medical Emergency Apply to this job.
