Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
Providing case advocacy Information & Assistance with state and federal benefits and programs Medicare and other insurance counseling Coordinate Volunteers Adult Day Services Billing Community Outreach Coordinate Resource Book
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field Minimum of 2-years' experience in the aging field preferred Reliable transportation for off sites services Excellent verbal and written communication skills Possess organizational skills Computer Proficiency Our mission:
To provide programs and services which support older adults and their families by encouraging independence, well-being, and connection to the community.
PTSCC is a private, not-for-profit organization in Palatine, IL, a Northwest suburb of Chicago, that operates the Palatine Township Senior Center.
We are one of three accredited senior centers in the state of Illinois and one of 130 nationally.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
